CME providers may offer CME that meets American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) medical knowledge requirements. The process includes: 1) registering CME activities that comply with the ABIM, the ABA and/or the ABP Medical Knowledge Assessment Program Requirements, and 2) completing participant data in the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS). For all three boards, the CME provider will report learner completion to the ACCME on behalf of the participant. The data will be transported automatically to the respective board.
