MSV Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee is charged with reviewing proposals for the annual MSV Advocacy Summit, and develops priorities for MSV’s legislative agenda in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Specialty Advisory Council.

The committee meets four times a year – twice via conference call, a summer meeting in Richmond, and once in conjunction with the MSV Annual Meeting.

Applications for the 2026 Advocacy Committee are open through Friday, February 20, 2026.  Once applications close, members are selected and appointed by the MSV President. Start your application here.

Who can serve?

The Advocacy Committee is comprised of physicians from all areas of the state, as well as one practice manager, one PA, one medical student, and one academic center representative.
