Leadership Opportunities
As a grassroots organization, MSV leadership is selected from and by the membership. Leadership opportunities include elected officers, executive committee members, directors, and associate directors.
Who are MSV Leaders?
The Board of Directors is comprised of a president, president-elect, immediate former president, vice president, secretary-treasurer, speaker of the house and vice speaker.
The MSV holds at least three board meetings a year, along with the MSV Annual Meeting. Each district is led by directors and associate directors, as well as resident and student groups.
The MSV House of Delegates serves as the policy making body of the Society, consisting of delegates elected by stakeholder organizations and societies.
The MSV Physician Delegation also participates in the AMA annual and interim meetings. There is also a 10-member executive committee, and an AMA delegation comprised of seven delegates.
