2014 Annual Meeting
There are many reasons to join the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) for its Annual Meeting this October. More than any of our other events, the Annual Meeting helps members make connections, influence policy and strengthen your efforts to advocate for your practices and your patients.
During the Annual Meeting, the MSV House of Delegates (HOD), the organization's principal policymaking body, acts on numerous reports and resolutions and establishes policy to guide the society and its members. It also approves the budget and elects officers, directors and delegates to the AMA.
In addition to attending the HOD, the MSV Annual Meeting gives attendees the opportunity to participate in valuable sessions, including educational sessions, MSV Foundation’s evolve™ series - Leadership through Collaboration, network with colleagues at board, district, specialty, section and committee meetings and visit with friends at social events, including the MSV Foundation’s fundraising event, the Physicians’ Gala. Outgoing MSV President Sterling N. Ransone Jr., M.D., FAAFP
will be recognized as he ends his term and William C. Reha, M.D., M.B.A.
will be inaugurated as MSV’s new president.
Be on the lookout for MSV's Virginia Medical News, which contains many exciting details about the 2014 Annual Meeting. Inside, you will find details about the Williamsburg Lodge, social events and schedule of events.
