Each October during our Annual Meeting, member-selected delegates represent physicians and their positions on issues at the MSV House of Delegates, and vote on whether to adopt submitted resolutions as official MSV policy.
These policy decisions serve as the foundation for MSV’s advocacy work.
Resolutions submissions open July 15, 2026 and close September 1st, 2026.
Any MSV member, local medical society, specialty society, system, or academic medical center may submit a resolution. A resolution is a proposed policy statement on a particular issue. Adopted resolutions become official MSV policy and guide all advocacy efforts.
Use the resources below if you need assistance drafting your resolution. If you are sponsoring a resolution, you or your designee must present the resolution in person to the reference committee at the MSV’s Annual Meeting.
Resolutions should be submitted online by September 9th, 2025. Resolutions submitted on behalf of a society must be submitted no later than September 25th, 2025.
