The MSV Annual Meeting is complimentary to all MSV Members.
MSV’s House of Delegates (MSV HOD) is where policy decisions are made. Delegates vote on issues brought forward by resolutions. These policy decisions serve as the foundation for MSV’s advocacy work.
Resolutions are reviewed along with staff analysis and written testimony by Reference Committees. These Committees make recommendations on each Resolution to the HOD in a report that is presented as a Consent Calendar. Any Delegate may extract an item from the Consent Calendar for debate or discussion.
Delegates are selected to represent physicians and their positions on issues before the HOD. Delegates are selected to represent local medical societies, specialty societies, or their MSV district.
To apply to be an MSV delegate, you must be an active MSV member and register for Annual Meeting.
In addition to being a delegate, MSV members who register for Annual Meeting have the opportunity to serve on a committee. Committees provide recommendations on resolutions to the MSV House of Delegates. Committee participation is restricted to Delegates. If you need more information about committees please contact: healthpolicy@msv.org.
