MSV's Annual Meeting features the House of Delegates (HOD), MSV's policymaking body, educational events, and entertainment. MSV's HOD is held Friday and Sunday.
As part of this year’s Annual Meeting, MSV co-hosted the Health Care Provider Opioid Summit with Governor Ralph Northam, MD.
The 2018 Annual Meeting was October 19-21 in Roanoke, Virginia at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center.
MSV’s House of Delegates (MSV HOD) is where policy decisions are made. These policy decisions serve as the foundation for MSV’s advocacy work.
By submitting a resolution, you are shaping MSV’s position on the most pressing issues in healthcare. The resolution deadline (September 4) has passed.
Delegates are selected to represent physicians and their positions on issues before the HOD. Active MSV members can apply to be a delegate. Delegates are selected to represent local medical societies, specialty societies, or their MSV district.
There are two sessions of HOD that occur during MSV’s Annual Meeting. They are held Friday and Sunday.
Over 250 people attended the 2017 Annual Meeting. See highlights from the meeting in our 2017 winter newsletter.
