The MSV Annual Meeting is a three-day event bringing together physician members and non-members to decide policy, receive CME credits, honor fellow physicians, and attend entertainment events. There are many components to the meeting and we encourage you to join us for all of the activities and events!
The 2018 Annual Meeting will be October 18-21 in Roanoke, Virginia.

Hotel bookings: The MSV negotiated room rate is $170 per night for a standard room and the room reservations are available at the discounted rate until Sept. 23.
Make your reservation by phone by calling (866) 594-4722. Ask for the Medical Society of Virginia negotiated room block. Room cancellations or changes must be completed 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid cancellation penalties.
MSV’s House of Delegates (MSV HOD) is where policy decisions are made. These policy decisions serve as the foundation for MSV’s advocacy work.
Resolutions are now being accepted for the 2018 House of Delegates. By submitting a resolution, you are shaping MSV’s position on the most pressing issues in healthcare.
Delegates are selected to represent physicians and their positions on issues before the HOD. Active MSV members can apply to be a delegate. Delegates are selected to represent local medical societies, specialty societies, or their MSV district.
There are two sessions of HOD that occur during MSV’s Annual Meeting. They are held Friday and Sunday.
