Service to the Uninsured and Underserved - Presented to a physician who has dedicated his/her abilities to improving the health of the uninsured and underserved.
Service to the International Community - Presented to a physician who has dedicated his/her abilities to advancing the health of the international community.
Service to the Profession - Presented to a physician whose work in the medical community has promoted the health care profession.
Service for Advancing Patient Safety and Quality Improvement - Presented to a physician who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing patient safety and quality improvement.
Service by a Medical Student or Resident - Presented to a medical student or resident in Virginia whose outstanding efforts have substantially improved patient care, either locally or abroad.
