Advocacy Committee

What does the Advocacy Committee do?

The Advocacy Committee is charged with reviewing Advocacy Summit proposals and, in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Specialty Advisory Council, developing priorities for MSV’s future legislative agenda. The committee meets four times a year – twice via conference call, a July meeting in Richmond, and once in conjunction with the MSV Annual Meeting. Due to COVID-19, the committee will continue to meet virtually during the 2021-2022 term. Advocacy Committee members cannot also serve on the MSVPAC Board.
