Electronic Death Registration System Update

As a result of HB156/SB194, effective July 1, 2026, physicians, APRNs, and PAs applying for initial licensure or renewing their licenses will be required to indicate whether they expect their scope of practice to include signing death certificates. If so, they must also attest that they have completed the online tutorial for the Electronic Death Registration System available on the Department of Health’s website.
