Dr. Mark Smiley is a board-certified emergency physician, entrepreneur, and physician educator dedicated to helping clinicians build healthier, more sustainable lives through greater financial clarity and confidence. After years of practicing in high-pressure clinical environments and witnessing firsthand how financial stress can contribute to burnout, Dr. Smiley became committed to helping fellow physicians approach money with the same intentionality they bring to patient care.
Dr. Rahul Patel is a board-certified emergency medicine physician, co-founder of a digital health company, and co-inventor on multiple patents. Drawing on 15+ years of personal investing experience and having witnessed the financial struggles of his friends in medicine, Dr. Patel is passionate about helping clinicians achieve financial security and build meaningful lives aligned with their core values.

Marcus Holzberg has a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Series 65 license, BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley Extension, Wesleyan University. He recommends The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel, and The Bogleheads’ Guide to Investing by Mel Lindauer for information on financial literacy, but the podcast SmartLess otherwise (Can’t get enough of the hilarious trio of Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes!) Other interests include “Playing with my 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, sports, and trying new food and restaurants.”

Jeremy Reed has a Bachelors in Finance, a Masters in Financial Planning, and his CFP, from VCU and UGA. He recommends “The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel for information on financial literacy, and “Mindset” by Dr. Carol Dweck, TED Talks, and sports-related podcasts otherwise! Other interests include family, travel, watching sports, fantasy football, film photography, and the outdoors.

Jing Zheng has her BBA, MBA, CFP®, EA from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, UCLA Anderson School of Management, CFP. Org and IRS.
