The Virginia Department of Health Professions’ (DHP) Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) is pleased to announce the launch of its 2016 PMP Education Toolkit to provide news and updates to pharmacists, prescribers, stakeholder groups, news media and the public. Whether you are reporting on the national prescription drug abuse crisis, providing health care services to the public or are a prescriber or pharmacist, the PMP Education Toolkit provides you with the latest information regarding advances in the fight against prescription drug abuse. It features video from PMP Director Ralph Orr, links to related Web sites, quotes, news articles, graphs and more. The contents will be updated as appropriate and can be excerpted for use in professional society, academic and other newsletters, included in campaigns to fight prescription drug abuse and cited in presentations.
