While the 2016 Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) Annual Meeting’s agenda includes several reasons why you should attend, including a dynamic keynote speaker, Jerry Acuff, Founder and President of Delta Point, two education sessions led by MSV’s very own Kurt Elward, M.D., M.P.H. and S. Hughes Melton, M.D., M.B.A., FAAFP, FABAM and the MSV Foundation’s Bollywood Bash themed Physicians’ Gala, we still need to remember that the meeting’s main purpose is to help set the policy and position of our organization on health care related issues going forward.
How does this work?
Visit www.msv.org/hod to get all the details on how to submit a resolution to MSV’s House of Delegates (HOD) in order to help determine MSV’s position on its health care-related issues. There are two sessions of HOD during the Annual Meeting where our delegates can discuss the pros and cons on MSV’s positions.
How can I get started?
With Annual Meeting resolutions due by Aug. 30, there is no time like now to get started. Visit www.msv.org/hod to see sample resolutions, view FAQs on the process or get any other details you need to make your submission.
This year’s Annual Meeting will be held from Oct. 13 to 16 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. Visit www.msv.org/annualmeeting for additional information.
