We’re pleased to offer you a new and easy way to complete your maintenance of certification (MOC) requirement. In partnership with the MSV Foundation, we are offering a physician-led Part 4 program on Sat., Oct. 15. Participation is limited to 35 physicians, so please register now to assure your seat. Even if you do not need MOC credits, you can still attend to achieve 20 hours for successful completion.
The workshop, Critical Thinking for Quality Improvement in Clinical Care, is relevant to all practicing physicians and those who are involved in performance measurement. The lesson will be led by Mark Greenawald, M.D. and Kurt Elward, M.D., who have both provided MOC activities for more than 10 years with outstanding ratings.
The second offering is in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) on addiction treatment. In another great session designed and led by MSV member and Deputy Commissioner of Health, S. Hughes Melton, M.D., M.B.A., FAAFP, FABAM, the educational offering will provide four hours buprenorphine training that is intended to expand the number of physicians able to treat addiction.
