The Advocacy Committee is a comprehensive group of MSV members that features physicians from all areas of the state as well as one practice manager, one physician assistant and one academic center representatives. The Committee is charged with reviewing Advocacy Summit proposals and, in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Specialty Advisory Council, developing priorities for MSV’s future legislative agenda. Positions are term limited, and the committee meets four times a year – two via conference call, a July meeting in Richmond and one in conjunction with the MSV Annual Meeting. Advocacy Committee members cannot also serve on the MSVPAC Board. The first meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on July 26 at MSV Headquarters in Richmond.

The online application  to serve on the Advocacy Committee is now closed.
