Legislative Summit

MSV’s Legislative Summit is held annually at the Society’s office in Richmond, Virginia. The summit is an important event to share your ideas with your colleagues and MSV staff. We ask that member physicians, local and specialty societies, and related organizations submit their legislative proposals and supporting documentation in advance of the meeting each year. A submitter or organizational representative must then present the proposal at the summit. Afterwards, the MSV Legislative Committee meets to review the recommendations from the summit, identify and prioritize the legislative agenda items, and make recommendations to the MSV Board of Directors.
