House of Delegates (HOD)

The Medical Society of Virginia’s House of Delegates (HOD) is the organization's principal policymaking body. At its annual meeting, the House acts on numerous reports and resolutions and establishes policy to guide the society and its members. It also approves the budget and elects officers, directors and delegates to the AMA. In addition to attending the HOD, the MSV annual meeting is an opportunity for attendees to attend educational sessions, network with colleagues at board, district, specialty, section, and committee meetings and visit with friends at social events, including the MSV Foundation’s fundraising event, the Physicians’ Gala.
