Leadership Opportunities

The MSV Foundation sponsors quality improvement initiatives, physician leadership education, prescription assistance and prevention programs that help you and your patients. As a member, you can participate in the MSV Foundation’s quality improvement initiatives and CME opportunities at annual meetings to expand your knowledge.

If you are considering a political career or just want to be more informed about politics in Virginia, MSV can help with that as well. Through a variety of programs—for high school and college leaders to first-time political candidates and influential business and community leaders—the Sorensen Institute of Political Leadership has established itself as a powerful and effective force for restoring public confidence in our political system. The Institute has more than 1,000 graduates of its various programs, including 17 current or former members of the Virginia General Assembly.

Members of the medical community involved in a campaign or considering seeking public office can also get the skills and answers they need in AMPAC’s Political Education Programs—candidate workshops, campaign school and regional seminars. Graduates say the schools are invaluable to their political success.
