MSV signs on to newest letter on Medicare SGR reform

27 January 2012

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) joined the American Medical Association (AMA) and several other state and medical specialty societies in sending out a letter to the House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp on the need to repeal the sustainable growth rate (SGR). In the letter, the groups urge the committee to use excess baseline projections for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) to help offset necessary Medicare baseline changes.
