MSV requests additional policy on Medicare from CMS

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) joined the American Medical Association (AMA) and several other state and medical specialty societies to ask the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide written policy guidance regarding how patients enrolled in Medicare may obtain reimbursement for covered services provided by physicians who choose not to enroll in Medicare and bill their patients directly.
