Reminder: Contact Gov. McDonnell about med mal bills

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) thanks all of you who have taken the time to contact Gov. Bob McDonnell about the medical malpractice cap bills (HB 1459 and SB 771). Nearly 600 messages have already been sent asking him to sign the bills. If you haven’t contacted the governor yet, you still have time by clicking here. The governor has until March 29 to sign, amend or veto the medical malpractice cap bills, so please contact him before then.

To control the cost of medical care, it is imperative to get the medical malpractice limit under control and not to benefit the trial lawyers and other groups. Thank you for doing what is important for the community and the state of Virginia, David K Chow, MD
