MSV supports comments on CMS proposed rule and indoor tanning services tax

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) joined the American Medical Association and health and community organizations in sending out two letters:
- Letter to Donald Berwick, M.D., Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, regarding the need to strengthen the proposed rule on methods for assuring access to covered Medicaid services and require states to collect and report data that measure access to care
- Letter to Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) regarding opposition to S.1278, legislation to repeal the tax on indoor tanning services
