MSV provides comment on proposed Medicare and Medicaid programs

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) joined several health and community organizations in sending Marilyn Tavenner, acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a letter to provide comment on the proposed
Medicare and Medicaid programs: Reform of hospital and critical access hospital conditions for participation. In the letter, the organizations state they oppose CMS’ proposed revisions to the medical staff and governing body conditions of participation.
