MSV begins process to establish its 2012 legislative agenda

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) held its annual Legislative Summit at its Richmond headquarters on Wed., May 11. This event kicked off the process of developing the upcoming year’s legislative agenda. MSV members, local and specialty medical societies and the current class of the Medical Society of Virginia Foundation’s Physician Leadership Institute gathered to present and discuss proposed issues for MSV to consider.

MSV’s legislative committee will now review the collected input for possible legislative initiatives. The legislative committee will then make recommendations to the MSV board of directors and house of delegates for their consideration in developing and approving the final MSV legislative agenda for year 2012.
