The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) aims to provide clarity and understanding to the innumerable aspects of proper coding. Keep up with coding updates and rule changes that apply to physician practices in Virginia with these helpful resources. MSV is also available to conduct a review of claims coding and medical record documentation for your office to help you determine whether or not your practice is following Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidelines and other payers for appropriate billing. These assessments address inappropriate or inaccurate coding plus weaknesses in medical record documentation that may expose the practice to problems with payers. Educational seminars are also available.
