Searching for the right eHealth partner can be a complex and time consuming process as can understanding guidelines and incentives for electronic health record (EHR) adoption and meaningful use. Implementing eHealth and electronic exchange of health information brings another set of challenges that can require significant time and energy that you’d rather spend caring for your patients.

The Medical Society of Virginia (MSV) recognizes that the decision to implement health I.T. requires a major capital investment and brings with it implications for productivity, organizational culture and the patient care experience. Many organizations are not equipped to take on this overwhelming endeavor.

MSV is committed to helping you navigate this process and has developed a member benefit program called MSV HIT Select that can make the process of selecting and implementing a eHealth system easier and more cost effective. 

MSV also created a eHealth eGroup on MSV Connect that members can use to discuss the benefits and pitfalls of this expanding area of focus with other physicians.
