eHealth incentives

What is meaningful use and how does it tie into my electronic health record? Meaningful use is the criteria by which physicians will qualify for federal incentives under Medicare and Medicaid. While the final criteria are less stringent than originally proposed, physicians need to meet a number of measures in order to qualify for up to $44,000 in Medicare incentives or $63,750 in Medicaid incentives.

If you have any information to share about eHealth incentives or if you have any questions, please visit MSV's eHealth eGroup on MSV Connect. Members can use this resource to discuss the benefits and pitfalls of this expanding area of focus with other physicians. This is a valuable resource to help you understand guidelines and incentives for eHealth so you can have more time to focus on your patients.
