If you bill Medicare fee-for-service, your claims will be subject to review. This applies to both in-patient and out-patient services, in addition to long term care, durable medical equipment, and laboratories.

What can I do to get my practice ready?
It is important for physicians, administrators, and business office staff to be aware of opportunities for improving Medicare compliance and how to respond to a payer audit in advance of the audit process. The seminar CMS Recovery Audit Contractor Program: Are You a Target? will help you:

Join representatives from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Connolly Consulting (Virginia’s RAC) at the RAC Virginia Town Halls.
