Medical Society of Virginia

Annual Meeting 2011 social events

August 2011

Hundreds of physicians participate in the events of the Medical Society of Virginia’s (MSV) annual meeting every year. There are many valuable aspects of the meeting, including house of delegates sessions, caucus meetings, reference committee meetings and educational programs. However, MSV also creates new events and opportunities for physicians to take a break and enjoy themselves with their families and friends in social settings. Take a look at what is in store at this year’s meeting.

Welcome MSV’s new leaders
Hugh M. Bryan III, M.D.
of York River Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine will be inaugurated as the new MSV president on Sat., Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m. Join us in welcoming Dr. Bryan, who currently serves as MSV president-elect.

Post-inaugural reception
Join your colleagues for a reception Saturday evening immediately following the inauguration of Dr. Bryan as MSV’s president. This year’s reception will include live music and an assortment of appetizers and beverages for your enjoyment.

MSVPAC large donor reception
(by invitation only)
To thank contributors who donated at the PAC250 level and above this year, the Medical Society of Virginia Political Action Committee (MSVPAC) will host its large donor reception on Fri., Oct. 28. Look for your invitation to this intimate event in recognition of your support for MSVPAC.
