Leadership Opportunities

MSV members can participate in quality improvement initiatives and CME opportunities at annual meetings to expand their knowledge. There are also special membership sections, including groups for residents and fellows and medical students, to allow these groups to use their power and passion to advocate for better health care within their interests.

As an MSV member, you have a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. The leadership opportunities available to members, though the Leadership Institute, election to MSV’s board of directors, involvement in legislative activities or participation on various committees and task forces, provide an excellent opportunity for physicians to shape and protect the future of the practice of medicine in Virginia.
